Summary
This report aims to list existing legislative and policy initiatives at international, European, and national levels; initiatives that provide victims of trafficking with protection and assistance once they decide to press charges against the trafficker. "The report is written to enable a follow-up researcher to investigate good practices within the possibilities of international, European and national legal frameworks with regard to the position of victims of trafficking in countries of destination. It may also be of use for those working with victims and interested in the provisions for victims of trafficking that different European countries have. The report is part of a project financed by the Daphne initiative of the European Union.
