The project addresses four main areas: 1) the perceptionsof trafficking held by law enforcement and the preparationagencies have taken to address the problem; 2) the frequencyin which law enforcement identifies and investigates cases ofhuman trafficking and 3) the characteristics of those casesinvestigated by law enforcement and 4) the investigation andprosecution of human trafficking cases.
