Summary
The OCTA is a core product of the intelligence-led law enforcement concept and its drafting is one of Europol's top priorities. The OCTA is, as its name suggests, a threat assessment of current and expected new trends in organised crime (OC) across the EU.The assessment is based upon existing knowledge and expertise and it is drawn up in order to enable decision-makers to take the appropriate action to counter the anticipated threat.
