Summary
The present publication is a guide on how to organize Hotline service in counter- trafficking activity. Despite of numerous telephone services available nowadays there are rather scarce practical guides concerning proper organization of the activities of such. One can find more information concerning psychological aspects of telephone counselling than such on Hotline management. But for thorough understanding of Hotline management it is important to get familiar with its core concepts, which we did in the present paper. Actually, the Practical Guide to Telephone Counselling is an attempt to bring into ensemble the theoretical skills and expertise gained by the Hotline counsellors engaged by the International Centre La Strada.
