La Strada celebrates its twentieth anniversary

On September 15th 2015 La Strada celebrates its twentieth anniversary. La Strada was born in 1995, when three women’s rights organisations in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Poland initiated a one-year La Strada programme. Over the years La Strada has grown, the network has extended and an international secretariat was established in 2004. Currently La Strada International (LSI) has eight members based in Belarus, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Macedonia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland and Ukraine and acts as the joint secretariat of the La Strada NGO Platform – United against Human Trafficking in Europe, which comprises 28 organisations from 24 European countries.

To mark the anniversary year, we have prepared three main overviews of our work.
